Your Pay
We know that understanding your pay is the most important thing for our employees.
Working for Green Daisy is an employed position. We take on the headache of the tax contributions, pension contributions and other legal tasks associated
with self employment.
- Hourly rate – Our operatives start on £12.21 per hour.
- Holiday Pay – Holiday pay is 28 days plus bank holidays for a full-time employee. This is pro-rata for part-time employees. The holiday year runs from 1st January to 31st December. Pay is accrued as you work. The challenge of self-employment is that every holiday day is a cost to you.
- Online access to payslips – An online portal allows you to view your payslips at any time.
- Christmas and New Year – The business closes for a week over Christmas and New Year, and many staff choose to save holiday for the period to maintain their salary. Being self-employed means the risk of cancellation over the festive period, which impacts on income. By working with us you choose if you would like holiday for the period.
