What to expect from your Deep Clean

1. The Consultant Visit
Our personalised approach begins with a thorough assessment by our consultant who will visit your home to determine the number of hours needed. We will work with you to establish your custom cleaning plan for your deep clean, and discuss any specific requirements for your home and any additional services if desired, such as window cleaning or carpet cleaning.
2. The Onboarding
After the consultation, we will send you an email with a link to your personalised Deep Clean Specification for you to review and accept. Your appointment will then be scheduled at your earliest convenience.
3. Your Deep Clean
A deep clean is a more thorough service than a standard clean. This is an extensive, top-to-bottom clean designed to tackle hard-to-reach areas, stubborn dirt and grime that accumulates over time. During the deep clean, in addition to regular cleaning tasks, we will pull out and clean behind movable furniture, wipe down paintwork, and ensure inside windows gleam. Furthermore, we offer the option to clean and organise items in kitchen cupboards, fridges, and bathroom cabinets, leaving no corner untouched.
4. Maintenance Cleaning (Optional)
Now that your property has been cleaned from top to bottom, we would be happy to continue to keep your home as fresh as a daisy, so that you can enjoy your free time and concentrate on the things that matter most. To change to a regular service please get in touch.
What’s included in your one-off deep clean
A deep clean will involve a much more thorough clean than a regular clean to remove dust, bacteria and dirt that may have built up in certain areas over time. Whilst many of the tasks carried out on a deep clean are also carried out on a regular clean, the difference is the attention to detail.

How do your cleaners gain entry to my property?
We offer 3 entry options to choose from:
- You may choose to be home to allow access on the day of the service. We cannot guarantee the exact arrival time so you must be home 15 minutes before and after the start time scheduled to let the cleaner into your home.
- You provide a key or code to gain access to your home which is given to your regular cleaner. The keys are not marked with any of your information in case they are lost. Upon arrival, staff members must complete a two-step verification process to access the security codes of our clients’ property if they have alarm systems or electronic gate/door entry.
- If you have a key safe, you will need to provide Green Daisy with the passcode. Your key safe codes are stored on a password protected file.
As per our terms of business, please note that if for any reason the cleaner cannot gain access to the property, there will be a cancellation fee of 50% of your cleaning rate.
If I am not at home, how do I know that the cleaner(s) will be there for the allocated time?
Green Daisy Cleaning Services provides our staff with a time and attendance application to check in and check out of each appointment. The application utilises geofencing which means check-ins and outs can only happen within close proximity of your address. We can therefore monitor the time spent on each visit to ensure that you are invoiced correctly. From a health & safety point of view, should a cleaner not check out, we are notified and can check that they are ok and haven’t had an accident.
The cleaner needs access to an internet connection to be able to use the application. You may therefore be asked to grant access to your broadband connection to enable the cleaner to check in/out successfully.
What happens if more or less time is needed to clean my property?
Due to our advanced check-in/out timekeeping system, we can charge you in real-time which means that you are charged for the actual time spent cleaning your home. The time quoted for your deep clean is an estimate, as it is very difficult to give an exact time scale. You will only be charged for the hours neccessary to complete the clean, however, should you wish to cap the hours, please do let us know so we can discuss priorities.
How do I pay for my clean?
You will recieve an invoice the day following the clean, which is to be paid via BACS within 3 days.
We also ask for a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your clean, which will be deducted from the invoice amount.
